An absolute stunner of a bird bath, coming directly from my personal collection. This piece is hand carved from either alabaster or marble with beautiful veining. This piece also has some kind of crystal quartz type pocket inclusions in it.
Dimensions: 9 1/2” bowl diameter, 7 3/4” tall including birds.
State of Preservation: 2 birds have chippies to their tail/wings, and one has a repair. There is some small chipping to the bottom on the inside of the bowl (see last photo), that looks to be a small repaired area, but in otherwise very good condition.
*This alabaster/marble appears to contain what look to be natural quartz crystal inclusions. However, I’m not a mineralogist, so I can’t confirm this with certainty.
